One wonders, is Thomas Jefferson spinning in his grave?

No, it is very clear Thomas Jefferson and the Founding Fathers were in league with Satan. Hail Satan!!!!

From Venom's debut album "Welcome To Hell" (1981):

+1000 for having The Stig as your avatar. Season 10, Episode 5... Car vs Bike vs Boat vs Public Transport race across London. Brilliant.

Oh and so I'm not completely off topic... Rick Perry is a fucking tool.

Jefferson probably invented a device that spins his grave for him.

"Protecting life," by these guys, means, "until it's born," at which point, good luck.

I very rarely go fire and brimstone on people, but this hideous abuse of the truth leaves me no alternative:
Perry is a blasphemer.
Attributing the work of the Holy Spirit to Satan is the unforgivable sin. This blasphemy doesn't quite rise to that level but is is perilously close. The concept of separation of church and state was originated and refined by early Baptists and Quakers, and by a number of great Enlightenment figures, Christian and otherwise. There is no doubt at all that they were motivated by a concern for justice and spiritual truth, concepts completely consistent with; and in many cases, inspired by; the teachings of Christ.
Again this is true of Christian and non-Christian advocates of separation alike.
There would be no sin in Perry arguing that these motives did not lead to a desired result (though it might be silly to do so). Perry is going much, much farther than that. He denies that these motives existed at all, and attributes the concept to Satan himself. The moral and Christ-like is portrayed as demonic, which is blasphemy on its face.

Well, fortunately for Perry, blasphemy is a nonsensical crime (along with every other tenet of Christianity), meaning he's merely a moron.

Ahh, but the Perrysites would no doubt like to make it a crime. I'll be ready to swear out a complaint as soon as they get the necessary statute passed by the Texas legislature and Redpot Rick signs it.
